Project Principal Investigator
The INTRAS project, co-funded by the Erasmus+ program, aims to modernize and innovate the educational landscape in Uzbekistan by developing new ICT-based Master's curricula in the field of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). The project addresses the increasing demand for skilled professionals capable of applying advanced ICT solutions to improve transportation efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Through collaboration with European and Uzbek partner universities, INTRAS focuses on:
Designing and implementing interdisciplinary Master's programs in ITS.
Equipping universities with modern laboratories and digital tools for practical training.
Fostering knowledge transfer and capacity-building through international exchange and training for academic staff.
Promoting cooperation between academia, industry, and government in the field of intelligent transportation.
By aligning with European standards and leveraging cutting-edge ICT technologies, INTRAS seeks to enhance the academic quality, employability of graduates, and contribute to the development of smart transport systems in Uzbekistan.
